4 simple planting steps
Step 1: Treat the seeds
- Soak the seeds in warm water for about 6–8 hours to stimulate germination
- After soaking, incubate the seeds in a damp cloth for 1–2 days until the seeds crack
Step 2: Soil treatment
- Use loose, well-drained soil (tribat soil, or mix loam + organic fertilizer + rice husk)
- Can be planted in pots, foam boxes or soil gardens. - Place in a place with direct sunlight for at least 6 hours/day
Step 3: Sowing in the soil
- Sow seeds about 1cm deep, 1–2 seeds per hole
- Cover with a thin layer of soil and water lightly to keep moist
- When the plants are about 10–15cm tall, thin out the weak ones, keeping the strong ones
Step 4: Care and Harvest
- Water regularly 1-2 times a day in the early morning and cool afternoon
- Apply organic fertilizer or vermicompost periodically every 10-15 days
- When the plant flowers, you can add potassium fertilizer to increase fruit production
